RADIOACTIVE Imagine Dragons cover by VULTURES OF VENUS

I keep hearing this song that intros with 'chill guitar strumming vibes', then some bro starts yelling inside a Nickelback-wave voice, then dubstep womp womps really intensify the vibe. Also as angsty being a Linkin Park song about not seeking to conform to society, even though the lyrics are anthemic. After utilizing my 'Shazam SoundHound App', I learned that the song was "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. The song keeps repeating the lyrics, "You are welcome to the brand new age." However, we've been hearing terrible music for ages already.

Radioactive - I searched the internet for additional information about the band and discovered that the lead singer experienced a mullet. Also, he bangs on the huge drum on stage to help make the performance seem 'more emotional.' As we know, 'banging on a huge drum' is supposed to appeal to festival-core crowds.

What exactly is the cope with this 'massive hit' "Radioactive"? From a few things i understand, it should really be some sort of modern revolutionary anthem. However, I might consider it one of many worst songs ever written.

From RapGenius:

Leaves precisely what is being changed up to interpretation, however the first song on Imagine Dragons' debut album Night Visions produces a progressive vibe. Some argue it is about nuclear war, others say it is actually about Wall Street and other protests, plus some think it is really referring to the final of the world. Regardless, its a very powerful song which will cause debate whatever you imagine it’s about.

Radioactive

It seems like this "Radioactive" song is a real lamestream anthem. Something which entire crowds of individuals can bang their fists to while feeling as if these are rebelling against society. From what I understand, government & media distrust are mainstream concerns that interest mass markets.
